Partnership Protection Management Liability
LAUW is delighted to announce the launch of our new management liability product tailored specifically for partnerships.
Today, many partnership firms, while not incorporated within the meaning of the Corporations Law, have adopted a “corporation style” management structure. While that has benefits, it may also expose the firm, individual partners, and other “non-partner” individuals charged with the responsibility of running the firm, to claims arising from the firm’s management.
Employment disputes, such as unfair and wrongful dismissal, sexual harassment, workplace harassment and discrimination, are becoming more common. Partners may be personally exposed to liability arising from employment disputes along with the firm.
Our underwriting appetite extends from the smallest to the largest partnerships in Australia with a maximum policy limit available of A$20 million.
To receive a copy of the Partnership Protection Management Liability policy benefits statement or discuss any aspects of the cover available, please phone Glenn Dawson (02) 8912 6405 or Steve Walker (02) 8912 6402.
Management liability refresher
A quick reminder about LAUW’s Benchmark management liability product – it’s a great product to cross sell to all your clients, especially in the current market where there are changes to state and federal legislation that could directly affect companies’ directors and officers. These include civil fines and penalties and occupational health & safety laws.
LAUW’s underwriting guidelines for management liability extend to the financial services sector.

Thanks to all the brokers who made an appearance at the UAC-NIBA Newcastle expo on Friday, November 9. It was great meeting you all.
We see many good opportunities in the region and look forward to building strong relationships with Hunter Valley brokers.
If you missed us at the expo and want to know more about how LAUW can benefit your business, please contact Arné Booysen, ph (02) 8912 6406.
